Start with the problem.

Start with the practical problem. It might be software you need built, code that fails, AI-generated code you do not trust, a programming topic you are stuck on, or an old codebase decision that needs a clear technical view.

What to include

You do not need a formal brief. A useful first message says what you are trying to do, what is going wrong, what code or language is involved, and what decision or outcome you need.

If email is easier, send your message directly to dan@redfielddiagnostics.com.

Helpful extras for the first message: error text, a repository link if appropriate, a small reproducible example, or a short description of the decision you need to make. Screenshots and documents can be sent by email after first contact if they are needed.
